I've seen that a number of people seem to be running the Amsoil dual-bypass setup, but I was wondering who's got a Gulf Coast Filter setup on their Cummins? (see www.gulfcoastfilter.com and www.bypassfilter.com for GCF info)
I'm thinking about getting a GCF O-1 setup, and I'm wondering if there's an easy place to route the return hose. I've heard of people doing a self-tapping hollow bolt in the side of the oil pan, or a valve cover, or the fill tube, but I was hoping maybe there is a low pressure port already in the block somewhere with a 1/4 NPT plug, where I would just have to take out the plug and hook up the return hose.
Anyone know if such a port exists on our engines?
Thanks,
Mike
