GV overdrive, helper airbags

How reliable is the GearVendors overdrive? I won't be towing much, but like the idea of have to choose between what gears you have. Will it last as long as the truck if taken care of? Any recommendations on a set of airbags would be great. Looking for a set that adjust the height when loaded, but keep the stock leafs and overload springs. Are the firestone air bags any good? What about a big rig type of setup?

I saw a set on a ford today that looked pretty good. Can anyone recommend a good set of air bags? Anyone in central texas do a gear vendors install?

GV Overdrive

I am not sure of Gear Vendor's equipment but have a U. S. Gear O/D unit between my 3500's 5 speed manual and the 3:55 rear end and haul/tow camper shell, slide-in camper, boat and 13K fifth wheel and have found that combo very user friendly. I have 30K on the O/D with no problems... . ! I have a 4X4 and the GV unit would not allow its use with the GV in O/D mode as it attaches behind the transfer case which puts the front and rear axles turning at different speeds. The U. S. Gear unit goes between the transmission and the transfer case allowing the two axles to turn at the same speed with the O/D in or out.
