H H H H Hesitation

Today when I went to pick up my dads trailer I had a very wierd hesitation for a moment. I pulled out of the driveway and it felt like a vapor lock problem I have had with my dads old gasser truck. I let off and throttled again and all was well. I went home picked up my car and headed back to pops house and it did it again this time getting on the highway(this it low speeds) so I nailed it to do a boost and EGT check. When i got to 85 I had 26PSI of boost and 1200 EGT pulling about 7Klbs. Which seems normal to me on a 101* day. Truck hasn't done it since then. . I have been driving it all day. It did this once months ago when I was still all stock. Any ideas?? I am afraid one day its going to stay dead when this happens.

Whens the last time you checked your fuel pressure? Whens the last time ya changed the fuel filter?



That would be the first two instincts I would check out.



Also I would remove the EZ and or check the connection as that could cause something of this nature to happen. See if you can get the truck to do it with the EZ disconnected.

Fuel filter has about 4K miles on it. Haven't checked the fuel pressure in quite some time. It seems to be %100 random. I might have to drive around without my EZ hooked up for days lol. I do remember the data link plug for the EZ bieng a little loose when I unplugged it at the dragstip a few weeks ago.



If you ever start to think our BOMBs are not enough unhook them for awhile... you will appreciate them sooo much more later lol Thanks for the reply
