I just borrowed my son's big variable speed 1/2" arbored router with a flush cut bit. It took about 30 seconds per wheel.

just did that to a set of h2 wheels i scored for cheap on ebay. took a little playing to get my trimming bit set right for depth, then about 60 sec a wheel to trim them down. i couldn't get my vernier in the wheel to measure the bore after trimming, so i pulled a wheel off my truck and gave them a test fit. . no issues. .

now i just need to paint them up and wait for my 285/70 pro comps to show up so i can have them mounted [yeah buy 3 get 1 free]

Would the H2 rims fit a 2 wheel drive without

rubbing issue or having to lift the front?

Presently its got 265-70/17 stock rims.

I put my old H2 wheels with 315s on my brother's 05 2wd. They rub the fender liners just a little on turns, but other than that, it's fine.

He hit a chunk of metal that cut one of the fronts pretty good so I think he's going to have to go back to the small stock tires for front unless he can find a cheap replacement in the Pacific Northwest.

rattle can primer, rattle can paint. . those wheels were in rough shape [gouges, scratches, clear pealing & cracked, curb rash] when i got them so all i really did was scotch brite the surfaces to give the primer something to grab and rattle can sprayed them down. 3 of the 4 came out well for the finish paint. the 4th one the nozzle on the spray can gummed up and it spattered on the wheel, so i got some lumps and a few runs on the one, but they are going to be my winter wheels...
