Truck Trend (by the Motor Trend folks) magazine, in the Sep/Oct 2003 (current) issue has a PSD vs Duramax article, solo and towing. The numbers for the PSD are:



0-60 solo: 8. 12 seconds

0-60 with 2650 lbs in the bed: 9. 96

0-60 towing a 7200 lb TT: 23. 6 seconds

1/4 mile solo: 15. 95sec/87. 3mph

1/4 mile solo, 2650 lbs in bed: 16. 97sec/79. 4mph



I'd be interested in the Dodge/Cummins numbers. Stock and w/ Edge EZ would be interesting.

dodge is faster than all in 0-60 unloaded. i think i have the magazine i will see if i can find it.

If you believe the 1/4 mile times I have some land on the moon you might be interested in. After watching many 03 PSD's at the strip, who's drivers had NHRA Pro Licenses run in the diesel truck brackets they couldn't get their trucks below 17. 5. I have yet to find that dragstrip they used-40 mph tailwind and 6% downhill grade.
