I posted in the 911 last week about some intermittent dead pedal issues I was having traveling from Rapid City, SD to Kansas City, KS. I found a shop that was able to look at it, and lo and behold..... nothing. It never threw a code, never acted up... . nothing. The only thing they did was change the tuning back to stock. I had it on fuel saver on the smarty. In the last week at home there haven't been any issues. Is this really something the Smarty could have caused?? I doubt it, but you never know. The VP was replaced approx. 4 yrs ago and has had a consistent flow of fuel ever since. There were high temps all day (101-104) and with the timing advanced for the fuel saver program, didn't know if this could cause the issue. Any ideas about checking the apps and other things to settle my paranoia would be great.
