Went junkin with my 06 and haul this wreck home. It a 39 conv. It another toy for my collection. Man never has too many toys.

That is VERY nice!

I'd sure love to be towing one myself, or better yet, DRIVING it or having it in my garage!

Congratulations - and keep me in mind if you feel the urge to part with it! ;) :D

Nice car, my father just got finished with a complete rebuild of 39 ford conv. w/rumble seat. Its a cobalt blue color. Somebody channeled the body over the frame sometime in the '50s and he left it that way for the resto-rod look. He also has '34 ford 3 window coupe thats hot rodded.

If you don't mind me asking, what condition is it in (never can tell exactly from pictures) and how much did it cost? you can PM me if you're willing to divulge prices. I'm just curious for my parents info.

Anyhow, they are terrific cars enjoy all the attention you'll get. My parents take their car to Indy ever year and normally hit goodguys in Columbus, and occasionally in Louisville. If you attend any of these, let me know, I'm sure my dad would love to see your car.

Its a nice car just straigen out the wireing now to fix the radio. I have the original springs to put back stock because he had lowered it and I want it back stock. It has all chrome bolts in the body but he saved all the original bolts. I am changing them back to stock. It has duals, dual carbs, engine dress up with chrome. For now I will leave it. It a nice winter project for me. I also have a 33 coupe a 5 window which I love and drive on tours a lot. I guess its a bug and there no cure for it.

Ha!, I understand that bug thing, I live alone and have 4 vehicles... '51 Chevy 1 ton panel truck, '71 mustang covertible, '93 Mustang covertible LX, and of course my '03 dodge. I think bug is to light a term, Disease is better.
