I have had my pillar propped up with a piece of folded up paper forever. I was not going to put a screw in there as I didn't think it would look very good(yeah like the paper does lol). I had tried various metal brackets with double sided tape and silicone to find it only worked until the sun came out. For some odd reason tonight I signed off of TDR got my stock pillar. Went out and sawed the last 6" or so off to the top of it. . just enough to have the clip and the locator pin. I placed it in the truck and made sure everything looked ok. I lined it with double sided tape and stuck my pillar on. Now it looks great... no scews or folded up paper to deal with. And it has at least 100 times the DS tape area of previous attempts so I think it will hold up in the summer time... if not its 5 min epoxy time
