I have had my pillar propped up with a piece of folded up paper forever. I was not going to put a screw in there as I didn't think it would look very good(yeah like the paper does lol). I had tried various metal brackets with double sided tape and silicone to find it only worked until the sun came out. For some odd reason tonight I signed off of TDR got my stock pillar. Went out and sawed the last 6" or so off to the top of it. . just enough to have the clip and the locator pin. I placed it in the truck and made sure everything looked ok. I lined it with double sided tape and stuck my pillar on. Now it looks great... no scews or folded up paper to deal with. And it has at least 100 times the DS tape area of previous attempts so I think it will hold up in the summer time... if not its 5 min epoxy time :D.

This only took about 1/2 Budwieser to complete

I might just have ya' beat. I too did the half finished deal for a year, and I still can't seem to get the trans. temp. guage hooked up. All the wire is run , the only thing left to do is put the sender in. Oh well , It'll be done by Spring. ;)

Yep, been there done that too...

My SPA rocked around in the dash cubby for far too long before I finally ripped up the dash to do it right.

Now for the ESPAR remote control receiver's antenna that is still jumping out of the dashboard, we won't go there... . :D

I figure my beast will be a never ending project. Why rush perfection... .

6 in a row and likely to last long enough for me to finish all these little projects... . :D
