Just picked the truck up and have yet to really drive it, They did the transmission recall and the "engine calibration" recall.

My ECM was flashed from 52371931AF to 52371931AI.

The transmission recall is more than a separator plate... It's also a valve body and 6qts of fluid from what my paperwork says.

The part numbers are:

CSKLW031-AB / CSKL032-AA

Says "Replaced valve body and sep plate and detent, Added Fluid"

We'll see how it feels and I'll report back, I'm at 8905 miles as of today.

Here's the dealer service instructions for the W03 recall if interested:

Had the same recall work done on mine 2 months ago, at about 6000 miles. Cant tell any changes, shifts fine, and runs great. Thanks for posting the Dealer instructions, looks like a easy straight forward repair.

Well, I've put about 200 miles on it so far. The trans feels the same but the EVIC shows I've gained about 2.5+mpg. We'll see how it adds up after this tank of fuel when I hand calculate it. Cold start idle is the same as it was before... Normal. I've read some have had issues with the VB6 flash but from what I gather the latest version (AI) has been pretty much issue free. The service department did a great job, Took them all of 4 hours before they said come and get it. I'll be stopping by and dropping off some of my Salmon Jerky for them for sure this week. Having the same service advisor since 2007 is nice also.... We're on the same page when it comes to knowledge and the majority of her customers are the CTD owners so she's up to par on the recent stuff/issues.
