Hello All...

I recently acquired a set of Hadley air horns that I want to put on the truck. I was wondering if y’all would know what else I will need to install these things as all it is are the horns & hand pump secured to a board. Found them in a flea market for 5 dollars :) , and they work great but I don’t want to use the hand pump while driving down the road if you know what I mean ;). What type of pump, and tank do I need, are there any other accessories that are needed, and are these available off the shelf? Thanks in advance.

You are going to need a compressor and a compressed air tank. You can probably buy these seperately from J. C. Whitney Your also going to need a solanoid for the switch that will enable the horns as well as compressed air tubing.

Here is a link that has all you'll need. The tank in the picture is what I have for my Hadleys. http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=4554&BQ=jcw2 This is a belt driven compressor. They make electric compressors as well.

Good luck

I just posted a sourrce to directly buy the components seperately for the Hadley. It is called Components Direct in Illinois. Their number is 1-800-875-4488. VERY nice people to deal with. They will get you the rest of the kit you need. You need all kinds of stuff, indluding fittings, relay, solenoid and what not. Some of it can be purchased at Home Depot, most can not. Give them a call.
