Hey, how's the truck coming along, Zach? Decide on a turbo yet?

J. R. almost had mine finished up when I bought a used 215 pump from a salvage place, so he's turning that up for me right now and throwing it on in place of the 160 that was on there :). Looks like I'll need more than a single 55 after all ;).

There was a first gen at the Clermont County pulls that had a TON of weight hanging off the front, and his frame was flexing like mad when coming off the line and when digging down at the end of the pull. If you hang a lot of weight up there, might want to brace that frame!

I would think you could build your own frame for the front out of 1/4" angle iron. J. R. was working on a second gen truck when I was out at his shop three weeks ago, and it looked like a homemade frame - maybe check with him. Talk to you later, bud.

Here is my weight bracket. The inside of your frame is 4", if you take 4" channel and round the corners with a grinder you can get the channel to slide into the frame. Then just drill the holes into the channel from the bumper brackets and you're set. I've also ground my channels to slide around the rivots in the frame for more support. I regularly hang around 1200~1300 lbs on mine. I also have another bracket to hang weight out to 60" but I don't have any pictures, that bracket uses a dual 2" receiver set up. I hang IH suit case weights on the 4x4x1/2 angle out front.
