I decided to try to save a couple bucks and buy a cheaper tire. Big mistake. The Hankook RF04's are like driving on butter or an elastic. I went back to the place that installed them and they will take them back. They told me they never had a complaint about those tires but there was no hesitation for return. I am going with my origional thoughts, Michelin XPS traction.

I took some photos of these tires, look how soft the tread is, I could completely bend it over with my hands. I guess that explains why they drive so terribly!

If you were thinking about these tires DONT!!! :(

I know what you are talking about as to the handling. I ran some cheap Triangle A/T tires and they felt terrible. The truck was real squarely. I ran them for 60k and still had tread left when the belt broke in one. Went with the Michelin LTX M/S for winter and so far have 80k with tread left and great handling feel. I had some Hankooks installed on the rear of a buss (dual 19. 5s) where used to work. Man that thing felt real bad as well. I guess the rubber they use is just real soft.

Ahhhh I changed my tires today, back to Michelin. XPS traction is a great tire, I've only got 20 miles on them so far and I love them. Heres a couple pics.
