Just saw the new Hannibal movie. WOW! I had dreams about some real crazy stuff. Theres one scene where he (Hannibal) has a guy over for dinner #ad
and drugs him up, cuts the top of his skull open and starts cutting chunks of his brain out and frying it. He eats some and feeds some to the guy it belongs to also. . WOW!!!!

Here is a trivia Question for you Hannibal Fans. It's worth 100 H. P. points. Ready?? What was the name of the very first movie of this series?? There is a 1. ???? 2. Silence of the Lambs and now 3. Hannibal.

It came out in about 1987 - 89 time frame. If no one gets it I will post the answer before I leave in the morning 0530 CST.

Illflem, I first saw this movie on late night cable T. V. Had been out indulging in adult beverages and the ever present gentlemen's clubs here in Houston, and caught it. I never read the book but thought then the movie was pretty cool. The F. B. I. agent was a guy, and Lechter was a different person, not A. Hopkins.

Here is a partial clue, this word is in the title... ... . Red... ... thats all!!!!!

I guess the drug crazed brain thing is a close comparison to what Jeffry Dalmer did. He would take a 3/8 cordless drill and drill 2 holes in his live victoms head. Insert some acid, and you have instant slave who will be zombied out and do what ever you want. He did this to at least one person I know of. They say the grand-daddy of all the canibals was this guy over in Russia in the 40's, who killed more people than all the American serial killers combined. He killed and ate women, children, anything/anyone he could get his hands on.

Yes the hanging was wild too... ... "what will it be? Bowels in, or bowels out?... SLICE!!!"

Here is the answer to the above trivia question. It is "The Red Dragon". Very cool movie if you liked the first two Hannibal movies. Cool music, and the part where the guy gets sent down a parking garage ramp tied in a wheel chair and set on fire is cool. Check with Blockbuster, they should have it.

Tha original name of the movie based on "Red Dragon" was "Manhunter". Great movie! I understand that they changed the name on later tapes, after "Silence of the Lambs" became a hit. It was the first time Glaser Safety Slugs were seen on a mainstream flick, too!

Just saw "Silence of the Lambs" tonite. Great romantic Valentine's movie or what? Now I am going to have to go see Hannibal. Some of the previews were good, too. My roommate is in to that kind of stuff. Not that she would ever do it... . I hope... .
