I thought about getting one, but fixed the problem without it. I had eratic torque convertor locking a while back. I called Bill at DTT (I have a DTT transmission). He told me that it's caused by noise in the wiring and it's usually a bad ground. I cleaned EVERY ground on the truck. This means clean ALL of your battery terminals. Clean the other end of the big ground cables where they hook to the engine. The smaller ground calbes that hook to the body has factory paint under them, I ground the paint off where they connect to the body, cleaned the connector and re-installed them. My PCM didn't have a factory ground strap on it, so I added one from the mounting bolt to the ground cable that hooks to the body on that side.
After doing all of that it was cured. Hasn't had a problem since. I also had the truck re-flashed to the newest software update a couple of weeks after I had already fixed the grounds, just to do it, but that isn't what fixed it, the grounds was the cure for mine.
DTT also sells some kind of TPS voltage filter that fixes the problem, if cleaning all of your grounds doesn't fix it. It's much like the Happy Box, but goes about it a little differently from what was explained to me.
