There hasen't been one damn problem with it in anyway after 20,000 miles. I have had some vehicles over the years and always some little thing happens. I hope my lift pump doesn't leave me cuss'in on the side of the road one day when I take my car and trailer racing. I will get a gauge and spare pump before spring. The tires are looking like 35,000 or 40,000 miles Michelins:) and wearing nicely. Fuel mileage is great and I find the the truck handy, comfortable, and convenient. I ran back and looked at the Duramax when I bought it being a GM man but I just liked this truck and now love it. :) Well since on every forum people are *****ing it nice for me to say I am happy even though it's boring to read, sorry love my truck!:D My friend had 4 Cummins with 3-400,000 on them all towing boats so that helped. Oo.

A big "DITTO" I LOVE MY BeastMaster 190000mi drove cross country, towing, and loving it when I could pass the other makes on the big mountains. Oo. Oo.

13 months old on my truck. 35,000 miles,maybe another 10,000 to 15,000 on the michelins. Fuel pressure is still good on original lift pump. Darn good truck.

Pavement Princess

Took delivery of my Pavement Princess (2000 D2500, quad cab 4 x 4) on black Friday, certainly was not a black day for me. Have driven only about 250 miles so far, stil on my first tank of fuel, love it. Drove a 93 D250 for seven years, while it was a good truck also, no comparison to PP.

Great truck!

Mine has over 30,600 on it. Never once has it been to the dealer for service or repairs. I do all of my own service at home. Original lift pump, no steering wander, excellent brakes. Still have a lot of tread on the original Michelins and I'll get another set when these wear out.

Mods so far are AutoMeter boost and pyro on the A pillar, Power Edge 3-light box, silencer ring in the toolbox, Amsoil air filter, muffler in the shed (still have resonator though), Mag Hytec rear axle cover, Fast Coolers on the NV4500.

Most memorable moment :D

Last week getting passed by a brand new-still had the paper license tag- Chevy Duramax duallie in traffic. Fought traffic for 5 miles and we both caught the light at the bottom of a hill. Three lanes going each way. When it turned green I gave it my best shot and he got 2 truck lengths on me for a few seconds but by the time I hit 3rd I was reeling him in :D and at 60 I was 2 lengths ahead of him! :p I eased up at the speed limit and he sat off my right rear quarter for a mile in my blind spot and never did try again. Probably took it back to the Chevy dealership and ordered a new 2003 Cummins HO. :D Who knows? ;)

Sure it may have been unfair to whup up on a stock DMax but hey they all know they can outrun us but he probably never expected to get beat so soon. Still had shiny black paint on the frame and alxes. :p Of course the DMax with mods will whup up on my modded Cummins just as bad.

Have 200 miles to go til the 36K Warranty runs out:{

Was built in Jan of 2000 but is a '01 model because of the shorter run of the '00 model during the production of the PT cruiser. so that makes my truck almost 3 yrs old. plan on keeping it 10 yrs.

Truck runs like a champ. I got a top of 23 MPG so far, and 690 miles on a tank (34 gal)

Had to take to the dealer twice one to fix the overhead computer and one time for the outshaft seal on the transfercase.

Have 2 boxes on with stock inj.

I am very happy with this truck and I feel that with reg service and continued use of synthetic oil in the engine, will last a long time... .
