Today, February 20th, marks the second birthday of The Radio Flyer.

Short of what has been previously mentioned in other threads, no new problems are present.....

135,064.1 miles with ZERO CEL's (except during transmission sump filter replacements)

209 idle hours
2,522 drive hours
53.6 average miles per hour

Some interesting fuelly stats :

10,010.3 gallons consumed
$30,023.27 dollars spent
13.5 lifetime average miles per gallon
19.8 highest average miles per gallon
$0.222 lifetime average cents per mile in fuel only
353 fuel ups

Some more info I track :

209.618 gallons of DEF consumed
$627.71 in DEF expenditures
643.95 average miles per gallon of DEF
It costs me $4.65 per 1,000 miles in DEF costs
It appears my DEF consumption is almost dead-nuts on to what Cummins originally states---2.09%

Love the exhaust brake.......works like a charm and is no doubt a contributing reason that I'm still on my original brakes.

And now...............................for the clincher.................

Through 123,278 miles, I've changed the oil 9 times for an average oil change interval of 13,697 miles per oil change :--)

The ol' Cummins 6.7L 385*850 is still as quiet as it was at 5k miles.

Still a great truck and always exceeds my expectations.

Holy stats, battyman!

damn, 13k between oil changes? sounds good to me.. I`m just creepin on 1700mi after 2wks on my 16, plannin to change oil at the 3k mark for the first change.. Then not till 10,12,16k? wow, that will save a lotta $ in oil+filters compared to my old 2010, which went 5k max before the dinger came on. I do prob 60% highway, 40% city driving.

good stuff

Happy birthday!

In 2 years time you've accumulated more miles than my 18 year old version of "Radio Flyer" :)

My truck has 900 hours (rounded up from 890+) of driving and one hour of idling. However, it should have many more than one hour of idling. When i was towing, i let it idle a few mins to cool the turbo.... i have run into restaurants half a dozen times and home depot once while wife & dog sat in the AC with truck running. I realize 2013's don't record idle hours correctly. But what i don't know is if they count idle hours as driving hours? Or just don't count idle hours correctly? Anyone know?

Congrats Greg. I'm glad she's still holding her own. At 2.5 years old: I have 22,602 miles, one CEL from remote starting with a "replace fuel filter message" in the EVIC. 3 messages saying my DPF was 100% full, each of which cleared in less than 5 minutes.. They were all within an hour of each other. I think that they were flukes, and it hasn't repeated since my last one nearly 10K miles ago. As far was fuel used, 1829.667 gallons in 22,382 miles at the last fill up for 12.23 miles per gallon. This is artificially low as my Onan generator pulls fuel off the Transfer Flow, so it uses some fuel that I can't accurately track. For the generator, I use .5 GPH X run time, so subtracting that out gives a estimated MPG figure of 12.45. During this 22,382 miles I was towing 10,388. I also used 23.827 gallons of DEF and my average DEF MPG is 867. I have 87 idle hours and 488 drive hours and 575 total hours for an average of 46.32 MPH. I did change the oil in both differentials at just under 20K after your issue, but everything looked good in there. I am looking forward to getting all those miles you have on your truck out of my truck! :D

Let me know if you ever need any cobwebs blown out of your rig. I'm sure I can alter any future haul and swing by and swap out trucks for a few days......weeks......or months. :-laf

Just might do that! If you ever get to Norfolk give me a call. Lunch is on me!
