I am really happy about my truck at the moment!! just pulled my 37' fifth wheel 190 miles from moab to provo, up over soldier sumit. I was worried about the old slush box croaking off(142,000 miles and stock as far as I know) when ever i had a hill I would just push button out of overdrive and go:) transmission temps never got over 180. I had plenty of power. . I just took it easy because of the transmission( cant afford to rebuild yet)

P. S. truck and trailer weight was 16,400 with none of our stuff in it so add another 1000-1500 pounds ?? anyway the old goat did really good:D Oo.

I have the probe in the center port on the passenger side Per instructions from TST were I got the gauges. hope that is a good place, I didnt want to remove the OEM senser or do a bunch of special stuff... . so I just went with what they (TST) recomended.

Jim S. , That is where I had mine installed aswell... ..... then found out later that you really do not get an accurate reading there... I mounted mine in the transmission line that comes out of the transmission on the drivers side and goes across to the passenger and up to the cooler... . I got much more reponsive and accurate temperatures now. Mine never would go above about 160°. Know while going through 1st and 2nd gear with a heavy load I can see it rise then fall back to norm once i get into third gear.
