We’ve enjoyed our 2 weeks here in Vegas but instead of gambling or taking in shows, we enjoyed the golf courses here. We are going to head out on Sunday & meander our way to Arizona. We are looking forward to spending Thanksgiving and the weekend with Carriage friends in Sierra Vista.
Soooo, you know my next question----Where will Thanksgiving find you???

Have you consider the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon from Vegas airport ? It is something else.
And the Glass Walk in the Indian Reservation on the way to Arizona has an amazing site.

Happy Thanksgiving, all. I am in Albuquerque now, watching the snow fall on the back yard.

We will be doing Thanksgiving here at home instead of our normal desert outing at the dunes. Just me and my wife, maybe my 21 year old son who is days away from moving out. Kind of bitter sweet you know. We are ready for him to move out but will miss him also. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving!
I'll (Mom and I) stay home for Thanksgiving. I have two brother's in the retail business and they have to go work late Thanksgiving day (plus it's hard to get my Mother to go anywhere), KC is to cold. Haven't really heard from my brother's in south FL but one or both will be working(not in the retail business) .
We have cold front coming in. It will knock us down in 60's for a few days(50's at night maybe the 40's).

I don't know about the 2nds, every year I tell myself that im not going to stuff my belly and then complain about it, but then next year I say im not going to do it AGAIN!!

Our daughter and son-in-law will be coming home tomorrow and our son will be home Wednesday night. Weather looks good for Wisconsin travel.
Looking forward to time spent with my brothers and sisters also.
May the food the Good Lord has provided fill our stomachs and our conversation that follows fill our souls!

Celebrated my family's Thanksgiving this past Sunday.
This week we travel to see the wife grandmother in the nursing home and spend some time with her. I get to begin cleaning and preparing her house for the sale in the spring. Fun winter project coming.

Went to the store yesterday and seen the family from down the street. The young man is still in Afghanistan and will be home soon. The wife told us she had a chance to talk to him over the internet, and he was a little lonely and home sick. Sort of reminded me of when I was in Vietnam. That memory sucks.

They are having tight times and the chow for the 3 growing kids looked a bit light. So not saying a word, we bought a $100 Kroger gift card and since they weren't home yet, had a chance to slipped it in their mail slot on their front door and disappear.

Heck, I know it's going to be T-day, but felt like all the holiday seasons rolled into one, and still have T-day tomorrow.

Won't be on this Web thing-a-ma-gig until after the family leaves, so:
