 Anyone ever under hard acceleration had a noise that sounds like parts falling under the truck and then the truck stops accelerating.

Would this be blowing through the wastegate? Could it have been a rev limiter?

It happened one, now I'm affraid to get on it again.

I seem to remember Bill K. driving Stefans truck in front of a rather large and heavy object out in Muncie.....

When he hit the nitrous it sounded like someone threw a handfull of 1/4-20 bolts down into the intake horn... .

It's gotta be that nitrous you are running..... :)

Too much fuel will also make this sound..... some pulling tractors and other HP diesels run so much fuel and timing that they are almost literally liquid locking the cylinders at an idle... .

I don't get any sounds that seem dangerous - but under hard accelleration towing our trailer, I get what sounds like a mechanical buzzing from the area of the muffler/exhaust system... I've had vehicles do that in the past from loose elements inside the muffler vibrating, or loose exhaust system connections - sure would like to find a way to stop mine, other than a new muffler - I like the way mine sounds other than the buzz...
