I had the lift pump go out and then replaced. After dealer replaced it if I would park up hill for over 8 hours it would take along time for it to start. I noticed fuel dripping off of the new lift pump. So I took it to the dealer and they replaced it again. Now it still starts hard and I do not see andy fuel dripping anywhere. It only happens when I am parked up hill. Down hill it starts everytime. Could it be a bad injection pump and how can I tell?

Sounds like entrained air in the system somewhere.

Crack open the #3 and #4 injector lines at the injector while the truck is running or shut down and open then restart to see if you can purge some air out. Use a shop rag around the connection to catch the fuel.

Within the lift pump, there is a anti-drainback check valve that is supposed to prevent fuel from siphoning back into the tank. Since this is your second pump, I am not sure I would immediately say it is the problem, though.

I agree, there could be air in there. Or there could be a loose fitting or line that's letting air in the lines. When the truck is parked up-hill, I expect there is a strong vacuum on the line to the lift pump because of the fuel trying to drain down-hill back to the tank. Could be pulling air in at the fitting when it's strong enough.
