2005 quad cab auto, sixgun with PDA. codes p2509 and 0336. code 0336 has been intermitant for a few weeks. any ideas or experiances might help thanks... ... ... ...

The 0336 code is the crank position sensor. I had this code once when my engine stopped abruptly. In my case it was because my foot slipped off the clutch... The 2509 may be the cause of the 0336 in your case. 2509 indicates the ECM/PCM power input signal is intermittent. I am not familiar with how your sixun w/pda hooks into your system but these connections are a good place to start. You may want to remove them, reset the codes and run it long enough for you to determine if they are the cause.

You mite try cleaning and looking for broken/bent pins in connector to the crankshaft position sensor, the engine speed sensor (crank speed sensor) connector are problems with the 12 valves.

ECM/PCM connectors should be looked at also.

Along with what Diesel Dually suggested.

Thanks for the help. Man this is embarising but it turned out to be a bad positive conection at the battery. again thanks for the help next time I will look before I freek out because my truck won't start.
