140 k Rasp with stock lift pump as back up- fuel filter in canister.truck always started when you hit the key. Bam it was running now it stumbles then starts. When I bump the key first you can hear the pump running to prime the system then it start right away like it used to. No leaks found. So how it's losing its ability to hold its prime. I'm thinking a bad lift pump? What do you think?

I had a cross over tube oring go bad and it caused something like that . I changed every o ring and sealing ring and fuel line on the truck before I found it

I'm not sure what fuel pump you have since I dont know what a "Rasp" is. But it sounds like you have a fuel leak.....maybe. Its very important to fully understand exactly when you're experiencing this hard start issue. That being only when the trucks been sitting, only when the engine is warm, or is it random.....

A sure way to tell if its a leak in the system causing the prime to be lost is to park the truck with the nose pointing downhill. This brings the level of the engine and fuel lines more up to the fuel tank height which then lessens the gravitational pull on the fuel which wants to run back to the tank. If it starts normal after being parked like that then you have a fuel leak. Leaks are not always easy to detect either.
