Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) hard starting in the morning, small leak at fuel guage?

my truck has started to get harder to crank in the mornings, has to spin over several times before it cranks once it hits it ok until the next morning, I found a small leak where I tapped in for the fuel guage (under hood guage for now, grease gun hose post filter), fixed the leak yesterday and this morning it cranked OK, could that have been my problem? My psi's still look good, I noticed that once the lift pump cycles with the key turned forward the pressure comes up and after a few seconds it returns to 0, I did a search and this seems to be normal? Once it cranks all psi's are good, 15 at idle and 10 at WOT (no load). Going to be pulling out with the camper for the Bristol race wednesday and do not want any problems.

You probably fixed the problem. If it leaks fuel it usually sucks air even better.
