Here's my problem. Back in July I replaced injectors with DD2's and a week later the dealer ship put in a new lift pump. A week after that I took a trip to Oregon pulling my trailer. While I was up there I started having a hard starting problem when cold. It has been back to the dealer 3 times now. Twice they replaced the fuel lines and once they replaced the roll over valve on the tank. Well yesterday I bought some Stanadyne and put it into the tank back the truck into the driveway so the motor was down hill. Started it 3 different times after sitting any where from one to two hours. Also it started right up this morning. Went to work it sets for 45 minutes on the level and didn't want to start. Since it starts ok when on an angle does this rule out air in the lines?

I appreciate any help I can get this thing is getting really frustrating

You have too much fuel pressure on start up. The reason the truck started three times in a row is bacause you started three times back to back,. When you start the truck and then stop the engine it will not run on bump to start until it has set awhile, that is why it would build too much pressure after it sat 45 minutes. The ECM is programed to limit start up pressure to (I think) 8 psi. I think there is a reflash for your condition.

I don't think that is the case here (could be wrong). After I started it the 2nd time last night I drove it for about 30 miles then it set overnight before starting it this morning.
