HARD TO SHIFT IN D.

I. VE PROBLEM TO SHIFT ON D WHEN THE
TRUCK IS IN DIFERENT LEVEL DOES IT MATTER WHICH
WAY I PARK . ALSO I WAS CHEKING THE TRANSMISSION AND I SAW A LAEK ON THE SIDE
WERE THE SPEEDOMETER WIRE GOES. IS A GASKET FOR IT? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

93 DODGE 3/4 TON AUTO.

When you go to park the truck always go to nuetral first set the emergency brake then put the transmission into park.

Hey Julio,
There should be an o-ring on you speedo piece that goes into at the trans (or transfer case for 4x4s) check to see if its leaking past there. Or if you have the electronic speedo, make sure the sender housing isn't cracked. Its made out of plastic and can't take too much of a hit.
