I drove my truck today and found that all the vacuum operated stuff

either did not work or worked poorly. I found that something (probably

a squirrel) had eaten through the little hard vacuum line that goes

across above the back of the engine on the way to the heat and a/c

controls.

I took the line out and saw that the hard line where it goes into

the rubber connectors have barbs on them. Can I just replace this

with the line with no barbs I can get from the parts store?

Also what do you think the . 44 mag or the 22-250 for the squirrel ;)

scatter gun if possible... ... ... . very forgiving in the heat of the moment

otherwise the signiture pink vapor left hanging in the air after the 22-250 does its job is always a beautiful thing. :-laf

bait him!

I would use bait to kill the rodent... Hate to see a hole in the truck... don't ask me how I know :{ ... but if you see him on land . . oh yeah the 44!... . :-laf then you have cyote bait= more shooting! Oo.

Best thing we have found to repel rodents is bounce dryer sheets, yes, the same ones you or your spouce uses in the drier. Squirels and rats can not stand them. We have plenty of both here. Tie some in the hood area. They will have to be replaced every few weeks, as they lose their strength.
