Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Hardlined wastegate

I just installed a Edge Comp on a buddies 2002 truck. It doesnt use a boost elbow like my 99, how is the best and easiest way to get the boost up? By the way he purchased this truck with an auto against my advise. And I told him that the comp would ruin his transmission, but he wants it to run like mine (99 5sp) does. By the way Edge used to ship their boxes with really nice pin connectors to tap the pump wire, now they send scotch locks.

The easiest way is the turnbuckle method. Also heard that a 22 casing works great. There are many ways to disable the wastegate.
