Wondering if anyone out there knows how to lay their hands on the wiring harness plug for the Chrysler 7 pin RV socket used on the 2004's? I want to use the Chrysler 7 pin socket in my bed for hookup to gn trailers. You can purchase them from the dealer, but not the harness end. Gotta buy the entire harness if you want the plug (according to dealer). I know I can just go buy a bargman or pollack and hard wire it, but I really like the Chryler socket design and would like to use it if possible. Plus, I like the idea of being able to just replace the socket if it gets buggered up by unplugging and plugging in a new one.

TIA everyone.

Edit: Not sure if this should be in this forum or the towing one. Sorry if wrong.

tried to do the same thing. even called pollack (who makes it for chrysler, i think). they told me that it was propriety to chrysler and that i had to get it thru a dealer who like you says wants to sell you the whole thing. i did find it advertised on a few websites with a part number, but when i contacted them for an order, they told me that they were out of stock and don't anticipate getting any more of them... refer to above... go figure. if ya find one that is great, but good luck!!
