Has anybody put ETC injectors in an ETH? While the ETC injectors are bigger, this might be an inexpensive way to get a little more oomph out of an HO.

Yeah, I know, "just spend the money for DDII's or III's. "

YOU explain that to my wife. :-laf

Purchased some pretty nice injectors used on this board. They are really good, I saved big $$$ and I got to keep my stock ones. Be patient, there seem to be a lot of guys trading up.

Jim, come on over, I have a set we can put in yours. At least see if it helps at all. Cost to you to borrow them = free. Heck, I am curious too.

Nuttin'

It doesn't do anything, I've done it. I had one ETH injector go bad so I put my dad's ETCs in. No noticeable difference good or bad.

I thought that the ETH's flowed 640 and the ETC's flowed 600?

It really isnt worth the trouble for a the hp you will gain. With 275's costing 260-why bother, with 275's youll get a solid 45-50 hp gain.

No ETH injectors are smaller, not bigger. The pump wprks harder on an ETH than on an ETC,thats how they get the power out of the ETH,working the pump, this is why they gain very little with a pump wire as compared to the ETC.

The ETH injectors flow 600 cc at 100 bar for 30 seconds and the ETC flow 640 cc at the same. As for changing them out I think that all of the injectors are about the same price. I got the figures from a Cummins Parts Catalog "Chrysler 2001 Pickup", the specs are not listed in the Cummins "ISB" parts book.

Money isnt really a problem, I mean, within reason. I was just curious if there was any difference and it sounds like there is not. Thanks.
