Ruger in . 327 magnum looks pretty sweet and has just about the same if not more stopping power then the . 357 magnum in a smaller package.

The specs on the web site show not quite as much energy as the . 357... and thast for a 125 grain . 357... they have heavier ones.

But I like the 6 shot in that SP 101 package and the lower recoil, that's a plus. I wonder what the noise level comaprison is... . ??

By the way I have two . 357s ... a single six (convertable) and a speed six and they are great pieces of machinery

I haven't seen one yet, but the numbers are impressive. Recoil similar to a

. 38 non +P, terminal performance close to a . 357. 6 instead of 5 in a J framed size revolver. I'd be interested if someone came out with a carry model similar to a S&W 642 with no exposed hammer. Cool stuff! I think this cartridge has a future. Not so sure about so many of the other new rounds. Some are answers to questions that weren't asked!



I've been to Cabela's, Sportsmans' Warehouse, and several local shops. Non have seen them yet and none have the ammo. Kind of like Remington's R-15.

Just when I think my collection was done, someone has to go and build another cool wildcat like this... ...

Although... it kinda serves a purpose already covered by other calibers. Ammo manufacturers are into the splitting hair stage when it comes to the new sizes.
