Has Anyone Done A Rollpan?

I was wondering if anyone has put a rollpan on their cummins to clean up the look of the rear end a little. Also is it neccessary to by a rollpan hitch to hide it behind the roll pan or can the stock one be used. I want to end up with my hitch and wiring hiddin behind the license plate so i just flip it up when the time comes that i have to tow something. Thanks for your help.

Yep, I used a rollpan on mine, didn't do the hitch thing ter talkin' about, as you'll see why when you click on my pics below. Nonetheless I dig the rollpan.

Edit, as far as hidding yer hitch behind the pan, I'm sure it can be done, it'll just take some thought.

The hitch that you want is called a Hidden Hitch. Alot of the guys with lowered rigs have got em'. Just flip the plate down, put the hitch in and tow. One other thing, if ya ' get a roll pan get a steel one , the fiberglass ones stink

Hey, I have a fiberglass roll pan, it don't stink. It's actually very nice thank you very much. And it ain't gonna rust!

Rob , The reason I think they stink is beacause the one on my 87' half ton chevy doesn't fit , and unlike steel , it is a little more difficult IMO to line it up , and smooth it out (make the rear of the truck one piece. Didn't mean to pull your chain . Just my . 02 Besides , mine may just be crap.

I'm sure they're not all perfect, I originally wanted a steel one but, didn't find one I liked. The fiberglass one I MADE fit, it didn't have a choice in the matter, I'm bigger than it !!

I deffinetly don't have that kind of talent.

That has to be better than the ones that you buy , not to mention when you do it yourself you're guaranteed a custom fit.
