Has Anyone painted there Plastic bed caps to match the truck?

Was wondering if anyone has some pic's they can post of painted bed caps. I have a 3500 Sport edition and just received my black Bushwacker bed caps. Says you can paint em in the directions, sounds like a cool idea for a sport, but don't want to re-great it if they turn out fugly.

I had a buddy paint his and they flaked really bad. The platic has a high level of expansion and contraction and the paint didn't stick.



He repainted them with a "flex" additive, like the paint on the front bumper of the sports. Then it was fine.

I used plastic adhesion promoter when I painted the plastic trim/flaps on my running boards. Been on almost a year and help up very well.
