I was cruising E-bay and ran across a Lucas rotary fuel pump that is supposed to fit our engine. Is it better than the VE or the Inline? Anyone?

From what I've read in other threads here, Lucas and Stanadyne have made pumps for use on B engines in industrial and agricultural applications. None were apparently used in Dodge or other vehicle applications. (I don't know this for certain though--I'm just repeating what I've read here)

I have no idea if they'll make higher injection pressures than the Bosch VE, but so much more is known and documented (ie, on dodgeram.org and other sites) about the VE than either of those, so the VE is much more of a "known quantity".

I was reading on a older thread that a first gen was running a pump off a combine, and the truck rocked. Maybe we're looking in the wrong direction as far as the pumps goes, as in cranking the VE up, might have to look into different applications, industrial or agriculture. At work we have a excavator running a older B series 5. 7, I'll be looking at what kind of pump it's running, off hand I have no idea what kind of hp it has, can't see it being to much as it is a Samsung 210.
