Has anyone tried Stan's exhaust?

I was wondering if anyone out there has tried an exhaust system from Stan's Headers out of Washington state? They come in 4 and 5 inch aluminized systems, and use a Donaldson straight through perforated core muffler that has an expansion chamber of some sort. The tech told me that a customer told him it reduced his EGT's by 200 degrees or more ( well, I don't know about that?). Tech also mentioned it got rid of the droan some customers complained of with other systems.

Any thoughts?

I have a Stan's system on my '01 and I like it. I believe that I saw something that Stan's now offers a stainless system as well.

which system do you have and what muffler? Can you tell me what you have noticed in terms of power, EGT's, etc. ?

I have the aluminized system as that was all Stan's was offering in 2000 when I got my truck. I have the straight through Allied muffler that Stan's sells with his systems. I don't remember if there was much drop in EGT's as the system went on about the same time as the gauges plus it was 4 years ago. I can say currently I'll see 500 to 550 (pre-turbo) running empty @ 65-70 on level freeway. I did wrap the down pipe with header wrap tape which did a couple of things. One was it reduced the noise level esspesially when the e-brake come on. The warp did up the EGT's about 50 but I can live with that.
