5'' to 6'' stainless exhaust tip source ?

Vendors for Twins??

My friend has a 99 3500 5spd 4wd. He just put an edge ez on it and was wondering if 275's would be a good benefit. He only has a fuel pressure guage now, open exhaust and afe megacannon. He pulls a skid steer and he has a dodge powerwagon he pulls occasionally on long trips. We are wondering what the fuel mileage increase typically is and how is it powerwise?

He is very light on the fuel pedal.

Any help and or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

yeah he'll like em for a little bit but then probably want bigger ones. I did on my old truck so I figured bigger injectors or new truck (see sig!). Mileage shouldnt go down if he stays out of it every once in a while and EGTs should be fine with his mods. They were fine with my comp.

I have the EZ and 275's on mine, I feel it is a very good combo for pulling. Last Sat. I had to go get a IH 756 with loader that my brother bought 200 miles away. I pulled as fast as you want to go. 28000 gross weight. and got alittle over 10 MPG on the way back

i have the 275's as well as the ez,and i think its a winning combination,... and a LOT cheaper than the really hot injectors... he'll get a lotta "bang -for - the - buck" !!!... ..... tom;)

Hopefully he doesnt get the bombing addiction, I originally thought I would be good to go with the EZ/275 combo, then I got the Blue Box, then came the Holset hybrid, now I got the EDMS going in, I dont know if I will be able to stop shy of Twins.

I had the DDTTM and when I added the 275's it really woke up the truck. I gained a whole second in the 1/4 which I thought was great for the $300. 00 I spent. I did get a Blue Box later but that was for a fueling box that didn't have timing. I really liked the setup and unless going fast is your primary focus then the 275's should do just fine.

I agree with everything said above. The combination in my sig. is great for towing. I've had no loss or gain in mileage over stock.

I had the 275/EZ combo for a while. I loved it. The mileage was great, and had more than enough power. The only reason I changed, was for adjustability.

Big A

I have the 275/EZ. I like the extra power but just wanted the extra mpg. I run the EZ on the lowest setting for best mpg. I haven't had this setup on very long but my only long pull was 660 miles(just last week). 506. 2miles pulling a 3500 lb trailer(50 miles or so through the Ozarks of N. Arkansas) and then 155. 8 unloaded (back through the Ozarks). Got fuel back near Little Rock 30. 89 gallons for 21. 4 mpgs!!! I couldn't believe it. Before the EZ I would have guessed around 17. 5mpg. I still need to confirm this with more long trips but the EZ seemed to do great. If I could I might want to try the EDM 1 or 1. 5 injectors to see if mpg would go up.

You Can't Go Wrong w/ 275

I had 275s and TST PM-3 Adjustable on an 2000 Dodge and transferred them over to my 02 3500. I would still have that setup, except I won a set of DD-IIs at an Mason-Dixon TDR Rally. Had I not won them, I problably would not have changed them out.

It's all in what you want. I have a 17K lb 5th wheel, so I need usable power. The 275 delivered that.

Take Care, Wiredawg

I have never changed to the lower two responsivness levels on my EZ, is it considerably noticable from the lowest to the highest level?
