I bought the wife one of those 3 foot tall Margaritas from Mermaid's Bar (in the background behind the tush pincher) and all was forgiven.



We had a good time and will go back.

I've never had the pleasure of being in Vegas. We've been in Tahoe a number of times, but never ventured out there. Maybe this summer if all goes well.

The gambling we could take or leave. However the casinos are amazing.



Spent 3 days at the Pallazzo/Venetian/Sands Complex just fascinated by the building and how it all worked.

The room we had at the Pallazzo was the best hotel room that I have ever stayed in.

Also had a Flat Screen TV in the bathroom, just how cool is that????



Wife found an old Black and White TV at a yard sale, was going to bring it home and stick it in the master bathroom so I would quit whining about not having one here... .....

Years ago, my logging partner and I traveled to the Northwest during shutdown to attend Richie Brothers equipment auctions. We always stopped the first night in Vegas and the second night in Reno, then just the reverse on the return trip. It used to be fun when they had $1. 00 Blackjack tables, (I never liked the slots) however it is rare to find one now for less than $5. 00 so I have lost interest there. For the past 15 years I have attended work related classes or just travel through and find I don't spend a dime now. I do like to walk through the Casino and eat lottsa food:-laf



I do enjoy Circus Circus tho and spend most of my time upstairs with all the kids in the carnival section. I really like the live circus acts they have every 30 minutes. Vegas and Reno both have them.

I use to travel the state of Nevada and other western states for mining. On one of my trips out to Elko NV, the casino would provide $2. 00 in a roll of nickels every night in your hotel room to spend on the slots. Will my boss was with me that time and asked how much I lost in the slot machines, I stated that I won $4. 00 and was not going to report it on the expense report. His statement to me was your are one cheap _ _ _ . I feel that if someone is going to provide free money than I will take it.
