Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I posted this same msg. in both 1st and 2nd Gen forums. I hope I don't get bumped from this one for posting the same thing too many places.
Our '94 318 Dakota Ext. cab was rear ended and totaled last week. I am going to replace it with a 3/4T Cummins Ram so we can tow both of our trailers when needed instead of making two trips.
I am on a low budget so am looking for the oldest one I can find that is in top shape and hopefully under 150k miles. I don't believe that I can afford anything newer than a 1997, but probably will end up with a '92-'94 model so I can pay cash. I have found a dealer with a couple of '92's for around $8,000 with around 120k miles and will probably go look at them Wed.
Although I am going to consider almost any type of Ram, my preference is as follows:
Automatic, 4wd, extended cab, 2500. It must have power windows and door locks and good air conditioning. Does anyone have one for sale. I am in Dallas but can travel to get it depending on the deal.
P. S. A '94 Ram rear ended my Dakota. I couldn't believe the amount of damage it ended up with. It needs an entire front end - hood, fenders, radiator, etc. My Dakota did not have much visable damage. The tail gate has a crease across it, and the front and rear bumbers and other areas had some damage, including radiator and A/c coil and transmission. It was pushed into the back of an El Camino and its trailor hitch did a lot of the damage in front. I thought the Rams were a lot tougher than that.
