Has anyone heard of the CFM Plus Intake Manifold? I went to the website stated in the new Diesel Power Magazine, though it says no site found (www.cfmplus.com). Just wondering if anyone had any info. . Thanks...

The website is up with only a launch date of Sept 4. Also Bob 4x4 ? using plastic. Just so you know the manifold is made out of high temp engineering composites. Similar to the composites used on the "Corvette" intake. Remember we are trying to cool the air not heat it up, that hunk of aluminum gets pretty hot you can cook an egg on it.

How many PSI will a piece of this engineered composite hold ?

Hmmm... .

Nothing as of yet, its sitting as a expensive yard ornament untill I decide what I want to do.

I never knew that lawn ornaments needed trick airflow devices... . :-laf :-laf :D

Go join the corvette forums and see how many corvette intakes have blown apart with a little nitrous not to mention boost. A very popular aftermarket upgrade for the vette is an aluminum intake and ditching the junk composite intake.

So if I wrap my stock aluminum one in Kevlar I'll get one that has the *****in good looks with something that works?:-laf
