Exhaust Brake Shifter Switch

how heavy can you tow in overdrive?

The 12vdc motor is bad & I'm going to have it rebuilt or get another. I removed the outer door & the furnace is still secured ... someplace / somehow.

The propane line is free but there is some attachment points I'm missing.

Anybody got any hints?

Thanks,

Forrest

You dont give enuff info. Is it ducted? is it in a tt/5th/slide-in? What make?

In my old tt (hardside pop-up), the duct side had to be disconnected & there were braces. In the "new" one (Coachman 97), I can get the motor out from the outside. It took some work to do it, but was easier than redoing all the sealing around the outside & the ducting inside. This is on a Thermoflame (?) or such.

SOTSU!!

(IF IT''S A SUBURBEN) Have you taken the long screw out of the the exhaust side?--It's the one in the middle on the outside of the trailor between the exhaust and make-up air holes.

The first time I took it out it took a little work back and forth to loosen the coller and flange from the outside vent .

The second time went better

The third time it slide in and out effortlessly

The i bought a new one!

dj ... I'll have to check the mfg.

On this one, the outside access door is attached to the furnace with 6 metal tabs. The tabs have to be bent straight & then the door & panel can be slid off, leaving the furnace.

The lp is attached on the right side / front of the 5'er, as you're looking @ it. I didn't see any obvious attachments down thru the floor of the sheet metal or the sides. I opened the access door from the inside & now have to explore that with a flashlight. It's mounted under the fridge.

I wish I could remove the motor from the outside w/o removing the whole unit ... but nada. PIA time.

thanks
