VHolloway I have been running it in my 12-valves to some degree for a couple years with good results. It needs to be done with care though. . . excellent filtering, dewatered oil, and without a fuel heater I've found it's hard to run anywhere near 100% without some blue smoke & stinky exhaust. Even with the heater I don't like running more than ~80% mix.
The concerns/cautions are the gas you have to use to "thin" it out, it can cause deposits and makes the burn hotter so it carbonizes/glazes the deposits onto the injector tip. With my mix I run between 3-6 gallons of gas each time I fill up the truck (more in winter, less in summer).
About the most I run in winter is 30%. Next move is to add another tank to run diesel for startup/shutdown, sort of like the full WVO conversion.
Last consideration, it may be hard to find used veggie oil, many guys are finding there just isn't any to be had since everyone else is taking it, and what you find might be pretty nasty.
The DSE liquid Diesel Secret sells is mostly made up of a fairly inexpensive ingredient, I bought the information from CJ Hall which is worth doing if you decide to jump into the DSE alternative. I would just by it from those guys first to try first.
