bolted on a new JR Adkins "baby" 55 saturday
i am just amazed by the performance Oo.
i can run with the drag comp off ... with just the DD jammer 4's ... and the lag is barely noticeable over the HY ...
there is lag ... especially when you slow down and the auto stays in Drive ...
but it is very easy to live with ... when driving around with the wife beside me she could tell no diff at all ... and she has driven cummins' since '91
with the box off the hy would boost 26 ... so does the new one
with the box on ... . :-laf
the hy would peg the needle past 1600 in a few seconds (6 o'clock with 1600 at 4 o'clock on an autometer pyro)
i can't get the new "baby" over 1400 and it takes a while to get there
boost is in the 45 psi range
very happy with the new turbo ... exactly what i was looking for ... just in time for the fall brawl!!!
