I am have some for popping noise when running my TST box only. I also am running a mp-8 ramifier with it,and if I only run the mp-8 by itself it wont do the popping noise, but it seems like like my TST box is not acting quite right, any solutions yall know of to the problem?

03 dodge 4x4 auto,dtt transmission,afe filter,airdog,tst,mp-8,fender flares,sittin on 20's,

probably running the rail dry with the tst. The mp-8 builds pressure which might be why you aren't seing the same problems with that installed. Might be time to upgrade the CP3. Just put mine on yesterday.

do you like it,do I need a cp3 pump before I need injectors?I have the latest upgrade version of the tst,it dosent feel like it has the power like it did before, what do yall think

how old are your wiring harness's ?? (the TST ones)

If your not throwing codes, its most likely your rail runnning dry. I'd suggest getting a fuel rail gauge or changing to a power module with one built in so you can properly diagnose your issue.

What settings on the TST does this? How old is the program of the TST also? I know the early ones would pop just while cruising down the road. A reflash made it almost go away completely

Send me your rail and I will modify it to NOT allow this to Happen. Contact Us for Info.

it does the popping most when you turn it up high, the program is no more then 3 months old,

Please post your settings on the tst. You have the tst w/r49 remote:

hp #

te #

rp level... is it on or off and if so what level

The 03 also have small injectors and are a limiting factor on the 03 and 04 trucks. Upgrade the fuel system on your truck it will make quite a difference.

OOhh and one more thing, set the tst on rp gauge and tell us what gear & rpm you hear the pop. NOTE the rp level

I think the cp3 is worth every penny. I added the cp3 and was instantly able to turn my tst up from level 4 to level 6. I added the dual line tonite and now am able to turn it up to level 7 without it laying over. :D CP3's can be had for about $1,000-1,400

kdbvulcan,

Your good to go then, go ahead and change your box to the rail pressure gauge and watch it when you are in higher power levels. If your rail pressure gets down to 14,000 to 12,000 psi on a hard run you'll probably start to hear popping. If it stays above 14,000 your popping may be caused by something else.

you hear the noise more when you turn it up on about 6 and 6

I am having terrible popping as well. Reb B. and myself have been trying to figure it out for a while now. First go around we thought it was a bad TST, sent it in, and got a new harness, but still have the problem. The noise went away when I was running BDDL by it's self. I don't think it's the TST though. My rail gauge never goes below 15000 at WOT, and is normally right around 19000 or 20000, this is on setting 2/2. I am really surprised I am hearing this popping sound on such a low level, I am really starting to think injector or something of the sort.

But non the less, I got burned tonight by some white Dodge at about 110... damn speed limiter... . but the popping... holy hell it was bad. Any more thoughts as to what this noise might be. Again I really don't think it is the TST. I have gotten Crank. Per. code once with the new TST, but no loss of HP when I threw the code. Any thoughts? Would a sticking injector cause popping? Something wrong with my head or valves? Whats the deal fellas, I really want to figure this out.
