2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission HD Front Springs

I'm looking for a set of heavy duty front springs that will perhaps add a small lift maybe 2". I've seen spacers for sale to go onto of the coil but I'm afraid I will have to change out my bilistien shocks to accomdate for these. the factory springs have begun to sag over the years.

The 2" spacers work with std shocks. I ordered std Ranchos with mine.



If you are looking for more load carrying - like a snow plow - Timbrens on the front would help carry the load.

I have 2" Tuff Country steel spacers and am using Bilstein HD shocks... BE5-25???, the yellow with blue boots. OEM coils.



My understanding is that if you go to aftermarket coils that will give a 2-2. 5" raise, then you would have to go to a taller shock, like the 5100 series.

How difficult were these to install? Did you have to disconnect the control arms, trac bar, and steering linkage. Or were you able to compress the springs enough to sneak the spacers in place.

I just purchased the KORE HD leveling kit. Yes you do have to remove the tie rod ends and the track bar. The control arms just get loosened. It comes with the Bilstein 5100 shocks.
