I finished installing a Flex-A-Lite #49591 cooler today. This one has 5/8" tubes, 1/2" NPT fittings, a built-in fan and adjustable thermostat. Being that the Super Duty trans cooler is no longer available this seems like a good substitute.
I still need to play around with the thermostat a little and drive some more to see how much of a difference it makes. So far it does seem to have dropped the temps a noticable amount, but we'll see what it does on my normal drive to work - with the 30+ traffic lights the trans has been reaching 180-190* depending on how well traffic is moving.
