head bolt guage

Does anyone know where one can buy a head bolt guage to check the bolts. I have checked with the local Cummins shop. They dod not have them. They were and included item in the upper gasket set, but they have lost their vendor for now and no longer have the upper gasket set I'm told. They tell me tehy need to be checked before reusing them, but they dod not have the guage.

Long bolts should be 182. 9 mm max (7. 201 in)



Mediums are 122. 1 mm max (4. 807 in)



Shorts are 71. 5 mm max (2. 815 in)



All measurements are taken from the bottom of the bolt head to the tip of the bolt. You can bottom tap the block to help prevent breaking off a stretched bolt.
