Ok new head gasket (only bout 1300 miles) since replaced, started leaking yesterday i found around back 2 r 3 cylenders#@$%! I guess need head studs and new gasket again. So couple Questions, 1 r 12mm studs ok r should spend alot of money on 14mm studs? and 2 will hurt 2 drive it? hecked oil n nuthin in there:) Ne help appreciated since only trk n need 2 get goin asap! Thanks 2 all.

Well, thanks 4 the reply but so far I added a bottle of bars stop leak n it's stopt leakin so far. But i think still goin 2 get the 12mm head studs n replace factory bolts one at a time. when resealed front cover and put on new schied built p-pump that puts out about 470cc of fuel with bigger delivery valves 4000 govener springs and timing at 18. Got afe stage 1 intake, high tech 62/14 turbo and 140hp dynomite diesel injectors. Waistgate set at 50 but i watch it close n haven't went over 45psi. also dual disc clutch bigger input shaft and rele need upgraded hydralics now... Tourqed factory bolts 2 125 when redid head. U think 12mm head studs will b good enuf?

I think with your mods, I would pull the head, o-ring it and install 12mm head studs. With head off, you can run a bottoming tap in the head bolt holes to clean out the carbon.

Yea wuz thinkin bout adding firerings if i gotta pull head off again ne ways. Took about 200 q tips 2 clean all the headbolt holes last time gotta fix my work trk so i can pull the head n leave it in shed a couple days also wanna get an ats exhaust manifold. I haven't seen ne leaks yet n nuthin in oil but there isn't a plug r somethin on back of head that would leak coolant is there?

O-rings would definately help. But I would retorque the head more. more hot and cold cycles. and many more miles to get a good carbon build up before pouring the boost to it... . under 20-25 psi. my first head gasket blew after 3 re-torques (125 ft/lbs) and 5000km... second time i did 5 re-torques (138 ft/lbs) and 10,000km and kept boost under 25psi. now i can pour 70psi to it with no problems and got over 100,000km on it now.
