head light blubs

I got the lamp out on the dash light. Low beam drivers side was out the high beam worked. I replaced the the blub and it still has the lamp out and the low beam is out. What gives. Could the the new blub be bad too or is it something else ?

Take a multi meter or 12 volt tester (light) to see if you are getting voltage to it. If not, electirical problem. Do you have factory service manual? Physically check wiring.

Update checked the voltage and there is none for the low beam... ... There dosn't seem to be a relay for the headlights either ? I think it is the computor or a bad wire somewhere. Boy I donot want to go to the dealer.

try checking fuses. trace the wires to if there is a connector w/ corrosion or maybe undone.

You're not gonna like this but it sounds like you need a light control module. They wont let you just replace a relay any more. A friend just had one replaced in his truck. . not chaep. #@$%!
