Some times you just hate the guys who designed these trucks.
The other day I blew out the left front headlight bulb. I didn't think much of it, after all it was in there for four years since the truck was new. Well I bought a new bulb, and disconnected the old bulb. Now the trouble started. Trying to get the new bulb to lock in place. My hands are big and I just could not get in that tight space (under the fender next to the battery tray) with enough leverage. Ok so I had to remove the battery and maybe that would help. Nope, still to tight. I removed the bolts at the bottom of the tray and on the side of the fender. Now the tray won't come out. Looks like the cruise contol box is holding it. I stopped there. Ok, so its a simple matter of removing the headlight shell from the fender. Nope, the Bumper won't let the darn thing come out. Back to the battery tray. Ah ha! 2 more bolts
holding the tray from the bottom hidden by the cruise control. Finnally after 2 hours of playing with this thing (in the pouring rain) I got it to pop and snap into place. WEEEooo, I hate those Dodge boys!
