2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission head lights

what i need to know is where does the 9004 go in the sport head light the inside or out next to blinker thanks

According to SUV Lights "on the Dodge Ram truck should be on the inside for 9004, the outside should be 9007"

Is this correct?

I replied to your PM... And accidently got my numbers wrong. The 9004 goes on the inside... And the 9007 on the outside. The SUV lights site is correct.

Same is true for the aftermarket sportlights I bought so I suspect, may be convention. The 9004 is a horizontal filament, 9007 is vertical filament. This may figure into obtaining a downcast spread light versus a raised, target pattern when engineering the housings

BTW 9004 and 9007 should NOT be interchangeable (they're not on mine) the shank keying is different to avoid mis-installation.
