Likely possibility of moving from San Diego to east Idaho in March. I'd like to hear from some of you in Idaho / northwestern US. Could use some tire advice, etc.
Thanks.

I just moved up to Pocatello in Oct. just in time for winter! The tire that I ran all winter and had very little problem ,but they have over half the tread gone, are Toyo A/T, my step brother has a new set of BF Goodrich, my father purchased a new set of Goodyears and all have done very well in the snow and we live outside of town in the mountains where the roads don't get plowed decent. Any one of those I would recommend but lean more to the Toyo's or Goodyears. Just my 2 cents. Andrew

Recently moved from San Diego area to Nevada, (about one hour south of twin falls). I have been very happy with my BFG A/T, the biggest factor in traction is size of the tire. I have 285/75/16, and would not go any smaller. I usally get around 30-40,000 on these tires. Now they make them in a load range E with a rating of 3700#s per tire, if you tow. If you shop at Costco they sell for around $200 a piece. Anyway hope it helps. Casey

PS I have a 4 horse trailer for sale... PM if you are interested.
